I suppose by now, most of you would have heard about this guy.
In case you haven't, he's the guy who's trying to get games like Killer 7 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas pulled off the shelves, describes the Sims as 'pedophile in-training', and wants ESRB dismantled on the whole.

VG Cats comic. And, my God, after reading
THIS, you'd swear that the guy is freaking INSANE. Imagine, a so-called prominent lawyer like that getting into a juvenile fight over an E-MAIL. He goes so far as to threaten Scott with legal action if he continues to e-mail him, even though it's clear that it was Jack that e-mailed him with that level bull first.
Now, my thoughts can be summed up in one sentence: "Don't like? DON'T PLAY."
In case people like Jackie boy haven't noticed, there's an M-Rating on the box for a REASON.
As in " M for Mature. As in, NOT for children under 17. Do NOT buy this game for kids under 17. WE DON'T RECOMMEND IT." Now, while I honestly cannot say that we here in Trinidad aren't guilty of letting people under 17 play this game (I've seen TONS of gaming places let children as young as five play GTA), I can safely say that WE ARE NOT, I REPEAT, NOT PUSHING THIS GAME DOWN YOUR THROATS AND DEMANDING THAT YOU PLAY IT.
YOU HAVE A CHOICE. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T PLAY IT.
And, personally, I take that whole 'Are you gamers on drugs, or what?' comment as a severe insult.
Hey, we gamers have an opinion too, you know, and we are also respectable people in society.
Labelling gamers as 'drug-addicted wazoos whose ideas are the latest oxymoron' (not his exact words, but VERY close) is just prejudiced, heck, probably even tantamount to being plain racist.
That's probably why this guy is such a joke: people who have seen what this guy has done in the past has assumed that he suffers from mental illness, namely Tourette's Syndrome.
And for those of you out there who don't want to sift through the entire article on Wiki to see how much of an ass clown this guy is, here's a snippet for you to ponder on:

Jack Thompson's website, and see for yourself what kind of mental frame this guy is in. He's practically exalting himself as the children's saviour while berating games that
nobody's forcing them to play to begin with. In other words, he's just doing this for image.

And, although I'm not usually for this sort of thing, send him a scathing e-mail while you're at it.
The way that he's labelled us gamers as 'druggies' without giving heed to those gamers that contribute towards society (such as Tycho and Gabe of
Penny Arcade who ran a donation drive for the benefit of children), he MORE than deserves it.
