i have a couple i'll start the flow with

Tattoo

I told you I wanted one
and you flipped out
I told you I’m getting it
you wanted to throw me out

Its not what you think
I’m not part of a gang
Its not like it seems
I’m not doing it for the cool thang

I’m doing it cause of what it means
I’m doing it cause its me
because no one will understand
and cause that’s all I’ll ever be

Its not some fad tribal design
or some kanji symbol for my back
Its something that means more to me
than getting my lost brethren back

I know that sounds like
Its insane
but this symbol and what it means
wont let me rest again

I am Angelus and that’s all there is too it
I’m him and he’s me
There’s no one else I’d rather be
Together with it my minds free

Its more than just a lame thing I’ll regret
Its more than just a symbol or a name
Its more than just a callsign
by which I play a game

It means a part of my life
that I will never forget
It means reliving his death right infront of my eyes
It means hanging out ducking school with the guys
It means all those foolish tears I cried over girl with these eyes
It means that down as I am in my heart and soul he still flies

What do you know about a place where warlords and kingpins
Are among the most highly respected?
What do you know about a place where no one is un-corrupted
where you can buy your way out of anything suspected
What do you know about a place where your government borrows money
from a group that tried to take over your country

What do you know about a place with a culture so diverse?
Where in one building muslims hindu’s and Christians all call church?
Where for two days a year everyone parties and waves
and one the third day recuperates by the waves?
Where music was heated and beated and wrought from steel?
Where a single style of music is created just because of the appeal

What do you know about a place where there is a murder every twenty five hours
and a kidnapping every fortyeight?
and everyone upon the road is soo full of hate?
What do you know about a people get killed over a dollar
where instead of opening a book they studying to pop that collar
 
What do you know about my country called Trinidad?
Where in the sun we get on mad mad mad?

You see me riding in my car
with my windows down blasting dancehall and rap and more
and all you think is a white boy trying to be black and failing by far

No one reads books anymore
You see me talking to the pretty girl in the corner
telling her she’s gorgeous and that her boyfriend shouldn’t treat her so poor
and you think I’m trying to get into her pants so you warn her

No one reads books anymore
you see me going to nightclubs and think to yourself?
This boy has too much money to know what to do with anymore?
You ever thought I might be trying to escape from myself?

No one reads books anymore
You see me club after club dragging up with a different girl
and you see it as me being a whore
you ever thought I might have lost my world?

No one reads books anymore
If my life was a book
the title would be asshole
Too bad no one reads books anymore

The way she writes

The way your hair hangs just off your face
the intent and stern helps me keep pace
the way you fan your fingers out
to stop it from moving

The way you glance and look about
your mind rather, moving
the way you cock your head to the side
when your confused inside

The way it tilts back again
when the words become your friend
the way your pen stops and stutters
just before it flys and soars

The littlest sigh that you mutters
and running the pen along your cheek when it bores
the way you poise and bend your hand
like a snake threatenend on its land

the way you rest your head on hand
as ideas slowly become grand
the way you bow your head and think
as your pen hovers above the page

the way you your story inks
the way you write with your age
the way you nibble on the cap
just when you think your stories are crap

the way you do those little yawns
as your character slowly mourns
the way you stare into space
as the stories gather in your mind

the way that look stays on your face
until the right words you find
the way you do the things you do
helps me learn to love you

A kiss

If only that could fix it all
like the kiss when we fall
Then we'd never worry about the things
that this life our way brings

whats the colour of love? its the colour of your eyes twinkling in the sunshine ,
 whats the scent of love? its the sweet scent of your hair,
what does love sound like? its the sound of your voice, more melodious than
the song of any bird and more precious to me than words can say .

love is joy , joy to know the one you love, love is pain , pain when you can't
be with the one you love, but love is great when your love loves you back .

My heart longs to hear your soothing voice , my soul needs to feel your tender touch , every fiber of my bieng yearns to know the beauty of your face once more .

The roses blush red at your touch,  the lilies pale in your arms , the sunflower knows no light brighter than yours , every morning  your beauty gives the world light  and every night the memory of your radiance ushers it to sleep .

What i want

I want someone who can have my attention captured
hold me for hours in a non sexual rapture
an orgasmic experience getting inside your mind
as with you my thoughts not my pants unwind

I wanna meet someone i dont look twice at
but someone i listen to twice for that
matter i want someone that will make my blood flow
not down to my loins but to make my mind grow

I want someone that makes me want to not do anything erotic
but that she makes me with all her non arrogant knowledge sick
i want to be blown away by her inner beauty
than seeing her from across the room and shouting hey cutie

i dont care what she looks like
once she looks like someone i like
i wanna fall in love with that small pink moist fleshy opening we call her mouth
cuz i wanna know what she's about

In other words i want someone with whom i can go blind
and still fall in love when her words enter my mind
In other words i want someone i can go insane
and still my love for her inner beauty keeps me under rein

there are no other words
for me to say
I wanna love her in every way

This one is called...

Mirror's Smile

Dead days never seem to end ; no horizontal moments.
Only broken backs, from trying to reach the impossible height
Even with the addition of my arm, I can't reach that high
Not a single finger tip will touch this bitter dream.


I refuse to receive the unformed butterfly
And keep it under my pillow until it grows.
Nothing this blurry could hide the surface;
Surface of unspoken broken words.


So the water dries
But the rivers still flow,
The leaves fall
But the the trees still grow.


Evolution?


The butterfly refuses to evolve
Because of the reciprocal agony
Breathless of anger
So radical in a second.


Maybe if I could fly, I'd reach the so called wanted height.
But if the butterfly rips off my wings,
How will I touch the colours?
Butterflies have colours. But this one jumps from green and orange to black and grey.


So I learn to fly
Not to see the butterfly
Or the clouds
But to wish for a smile in my mirror's reflection.

When if first saw you my soul knew joy again,
i learned how to smile again,
the world was a happy place again  ,
the birds would sing of my joy ,
but the sun of my ecstacy set , 
the night took me  ,
the darkness held me.

All i know is darkness ,
all i feel is emptyness
yet your light shines through the clouds
giving me hope ,
but taunting my sadness ,
you know not the depth of my sorrow,
the span  of the sea of misery,
its waves driven by my sobs,
its salt my tears .

will i ever see light again?
will my pain ever cease?
will the sun ever rise again?
or must someone else rekindle
my flames?

Every day that dawns I love you so much more.
Every moment that comes brings me such joy.
So many scars to heal from the past,
Make our love that much stronger because our love will last.

You are my heartbeat, each & everyday.
You are the love that makes it all be ok.
My todays are so much better and my tomorrows are usually to.
The best part is you love me to.

Simplicity & trust is what you crave.
For without these factors, love dwindles away.

And I have found that in my heart..... Our love is true & that you are my ever after, you are all my dreams come true.

Not because we have everything, or because I expect to.
But because its just so easy this love I have for you.

My heart still skips when I know your there.
I smile when I know you will be there.

Love does crazy things to us,
Some good some bad.

In this case my love,
Our love is all but grand.
We have our battles and troubles we will cross.
But we are together & our love will not be lost.

I will hold dear to what I believe is true.

And for this I need you to know I will always believe in you.

Oh poor and heartsick soul?
Another part to fill and tame,
A brand new life to mould.

Can anything redeem you?

Locked inside a cracking shell,

Under the dark nights sky,
I was lying down upon the mossy forest floor.
Many thoughts were racing through my head,
Thoughts about life, my friends, and much more.

The scenery around me making such beautiful sounds.
The loud roar of the deep blue river.
The harmonious cry of the birds.
The light shining through the trees will stay in my mind forever.

That was the night that I met her.
She appeared out of nowhere.
She looked so amazing
All I could do was stare.

Her skin was a translucent green.
Her hair was crimson red.
Her eyes a pale blue.
Her faerie wings spread.

That was the thing that intrigued me.
Her wings, blood red, nightmare black,
Smoke gray with just a touch of pale blue.
Fitting perfectly on her back.

She took my hand in hers,
And started to lead me toward the river.
Her pale blue eyes met mine own,
And all I could do was shiver.

She took a step into the river,
Dragging me along with her and all I could do was wonder,
As we walked deeper and deeper into the river,
Our heads submerged under.

As the air started to leave my lungs,
I stared at her beautiful face.
My heart filled with happiness.
At least I had died with grace.

A Letter to Rudolph

Dear Husband, It is time that I must have my say,
I've taken your shit day after day.
I've kept the home peaceful year after year
Now there is going to be changes, so listen my dear.

So you're famous, everyone knows your name,
And you're a specialist by gum, in the transport game,
You think you're so grand with your important job.
But I'm telling you my dear you're a worn out old yob

363 days a year,
You sit on your arse drinking scotch, rum and beer,
You claim it is to keep up the shine on your nose
So Santa can see where he bloodywell goes.

One night a year is all that you work,
You and your eight reisty mates - they're all jerks.
Dasher and Dancer - Speed freaks I say,
The sleigh wouldn't go that quick any other way.
Prancer and Vixen - Just cheap little tarts,
But they look like angels once Comet starts.

Cupids on some freaked out damned power trip,
And Donner...well, she should just get a damned grip
And Blitzen, I almost don't need to say,
Is here getting blitzed with you every day.

All of these years at the front of the sled,
Has gone, I'm afraid, to your crusty old head.
You're a layabout and a drunkard, with a big shiny nose,
And a weakness for elves in black pantyhose.

I'm telling you husband that one Christmas song,
Has made you think that you can do no wrong.
So this year while your out with old Santa's sled,
I am eloping, my dear, with your friend - Mr. Ed
