Intel unreliable?, (whats that? I cyah hear yuh crixx!)

Toms hardware did a stress test comparing Intel and AMD dual core systems , they ran DVD ripping , CD to mp3 converting and Divx encoding software with a farcry benchmark looping on top of it all , the AMD system beat the intel system in everything but Div X encoding , on top of that the Intel system kept failing due to overheating , or memory incompatability , and once a fried motherboard that could not cope with suppling an intel dual core with power . Even on hardware that did not fry itself, the intel system had to be restarted several times in the course of the test , while the amd system didn't restart once !
Does this signify a change in the age old mantra that Intel is the safer , faster and more reliable platform ? I think it does, if its one thing this stress test proved , by going through so many motherboards , one of them bieng an Intel mobo , is that intel can no longer be trusted to provide reliable CPUs and motherboards in high end situations .

I came to that conclusion with the advent of the Prescott overheating situation when compared to the thermal performance of the Athlon 64.
but it is nice to have such scientific evidence to back it up!
This really opens up the high end market to AMD.
5 years ago, if you told me that the shitty AMD 466 3DNOW Socket 7 Fireball would give birth to the A64 monsters we have before us, I would have sent you to St. Anns for an evaluation. lol
kudos idmc

This screenie was taken frm Tom's Hardware, a recognised hardware emporium. It shows the initial rigs and updates to hardware that had to be made in a stress test of the Dual Core platforms they are currently conducting. Its real kix to see how many changes had to be made to the Intel platform and NONE to the AMD. Crixx boy where yuh now? and even worse, its NVIDIA problems too... of course its the Intel SLI platform, but who's being picky :p
The link is here:

I think some one forgot the disclaimer in the test that says "PRE PRODUCTION INTEL CHIP AND BOARD" and PRODUCTION AMD

most interesting that toms would get issues like this
When Alien ware is happilly producing there dual core area 51 systems
and it would be a given they wouldnt or rather couldnt build there 1337 machines with parts as tragic as yall are trying to make intels chips seem.
Looks as though amd using art of war stratergies, desemanating mis information amongst the masses.
