Getting bored with Anime

I remember when i was younger watching anime for the first time, classics like Akira and Vampire Hunter D, thinking how cool and original it was. but now after seeing so much anime and seeing things being repeated..... its begining to lose its originality. don't you think?

Example....... why is it always a guy thats half sumthing? Half deamon, Half vampier half dead or whatever

Well, cause thats what would more draw attention. And its pretty hard to come up with any thing truly orginal. Everything would have been done in some way or the other already.

And as for the half demon and what not, thats just to draw attention, its to make the main character different, or seperate them from the others. Other wise, it would be just plain and simple. Only every now and then it is pulled off and is pretty good, but those anime are like, non action oriented, ie comedy or drama etc. Like azumanga dioh and what not.

getting fed up of anime call the doctor! j/k i remeber there was a phase i went through where i got fed up of it didnt watch anything anime for like 4 months or more lol O_o it gets tiring but anime is the same as normal tv u see too much of the same thing ur gonna get fed up its understandable there are very good animes out there that are being blocked by all the releases of new stuff for e.g take a trip into the love storie anime , comedy etc its not always action ...anime has reached along way here there is a anime in every category horror , etc so just keep on looking u will find a little gem now and then and try not to get bombarded by the generics over and over

yeah, it is natural.

Anime today don't have the same effect on me anymore as it did when I first saw Berserk and Ninja Scroll.

I've lost my Anime virginity. lol

Escaflowne, Spriggan, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai X OVAs and it's ilk have overly wtfpwned me, time and time again.

However, every now and again, I get slaughtered by a new Anime.

In recent memory, Macross Zero. PWNAGE!!

yeah i hear about samurai champloo but i haven't checked out any of the episodes as yet. it looks really good

and yes i find now adays  comedic or romanitic animes catch my intrest quicker than action. for isntance i fell in love with Naruto because the first few episodes were really funny! then the action drew me in more. and another favourite of mine is Chobits

thaz true... you can't only look at comedies or action movies, so you can't only look at fighting/horror/adult type anime...

Its also not just getting bored, but the wait for a new one to come along. And not really a NEW one, but one you've never seen and it just...well captivates you.

lol @ sweet anime, yea thats a good one. But its hard to find a really good "sweet" anime that is really interesting. If you like action and what not, but wanna check out a "sweet" anime look at DNAngel, it has a good amount of action in it, and some romance mixed together also..

That was RHEAL kicks, it was a real good anime, i have a dual audio one, this is prob one of the few anime i prefer the english version.....

DNAngel was pretty good, its an anime you can watch over a few times...after taht...it gets dead.... But its still rheally cool tho... You should try and watch it...
