lol, no one ever seems to have "much money" nowadays.

Been doing this for a living for many years now and 8/10 times, we won't get hit for vat nor duty on motherboards, graphics cards and processors.

The odd occassion you'll get a customs officer actin a foo and charging you on the items. At worst, when they do..we are talking about 15% VAT and 20% duty.

A 35% hit.

Safest way is to let Aunty put it in her dirty clothes, to avoid any such charges and shipping costs! lol

hope this helps.

customs officers can act like real fools ,  i'v heard stories of them seizing all kinds of stuff and saying its 'on the banned list' , then keeping it for themselves or selling it. When my brother bought an ECU for his car they hit him a 110% tax just because they felt like it .
You gotta make friends with them customs people, bring them a carib or a box of chicken once in awhile , and they'll let you go .

lol, wow this thread moved from customs to food..and seems like its going to alcohol :P

Well, see the thing is, I never really had a problem with customs cause I would use private mailing servies like Fedex and what not cause to me, I doh think that they woul do that kinda nuts. Open up your new underwear and wear it, then put it back (I wouldnt doubt that kinda things does be going on)

The people down at customs SUCK.

They wrecked the box for my new MegaMan Zero game.
As if that wasn't bad enough, they did the same to Yu-Gi-Oh! and my brother's Street Fighter Anniversary Collection. Plus, they like to play mind games with my supplier, keeping it captive in their offices until he goes over to get it, sometimes CLOSING UP SHOP before he gets there, making me, the irate customer wait even LONGER for my gaming induced brain sex.

.....a$$holes.
