November Top 20 *All Stars* reveals more balanced game usage among top titles
Call of Duty 2 is showing off this month by rising to the 5th place behind the usual suspects Battlefield 2, Half-Life 2, World of Warcraft, and Counter-Strike. Among other new titles since October, Age of Empires III pursues its ascension by climbing two seats to #6.
Surprisingly, City of Heroes gets back into the top 10 at #9, an impressive progression from #15 last month. And then there's Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, the Xbox version of nowadays' king title at game centers, which enters the chart at #10, no more, no less than Call of Duty 2 last month... Nice to see new excitement for console players! Other MMORPG Guild Wars also improves its ranking at #12.
Returns include Halo (Xbox); yes, Halo 1, not 2, and Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, one to sneak back in frequently.
Soon to face retirement, Call of Duty still appears at a very honorable #13. Other drops include Halo 2 (Xbox) at #8 (-5), The Lord of The Rings: Battle for Middle-earth in 11th position (-2), Unreal Tournament 2004 at #14 (-2), Star Wars Battlefront - with its new sequel making entrance on its heels at #17, and Dungeon Siege II closing the march at #20 (-4).
