I guess Microsoft can afford to pay top developers to implement their API for xbox live with all the $$ they rake in with Gold subscriptions.

Boosting works with 'hacked servers' aka hacked/modded xbox 360s. Basically you connect to a 'hacked server' and whomever controls it has control over things like the amt of POINTS per match. On avg I make about 1k-3k PER MATCH in gow3. Now I am not that good, however even the top scorers can't top 5k i'd say per match. There are 100 levels and each level requires more points to level. So if on the hacked xbox you making 20k instead of 2k standard, you get to 100 ALOT faster, like yuh know 'boost' in a car?

Hope that clears it up. That being said we don't take kindly to boosters EVEN if you're on my list or a 'padna' I WILL report yuh tail and as we have seen happen with another regular gamer we know, if even ppl report them they get reset to lvl 0 by MS and/or banned from xbl.

There is one way....Wyatt, I ask that we remove MentalJack from the Simple XBL leaderboard for artificially padding his gamerscore.....

but more seriously, my point is any number of those six people who use my xbox 360 could do something fishy and I may not be aware.

Especially my Son. Who may get caught up in some e-peen war with his friends at school or so over his score of Halo rank.

I surely don't audit my gamer score monthly, let alone daily.

So before bashing Mental, lets hear his side of the story on mumble. I'm sure we can get to the bottom of this one way or the other.

The point is moot wyatt, regardless of who or how many ppl are using the xbox if someone even 1 is boosting then you're at an unfair advantage against the rest of ppl here. It's almost akin to using PhysX in 3DMark07 to boost your overall score (which btw was outlawed on this very forum). I cannot advocate having a gamer (cheating himself or otherwise) at the top of the GATT XBL listing regardless of if his grandmother was boosting. Cheating is cheating and if we make an exception for 1 it'll set a bad precidence.

Also I messaged him on the matter offering the chance to state his case and though he has posted on the forums since, he has not responded to the mandate. He has until sunday then we'll proceed accordingly.

I would definitely like to hear his explanation for his sudden jump in Gamerscore....As well as being able to stop time and unlock all the achievements in Gears of War 2 in one day...not to mention having no dates on Gears 3....really interested

Having both PS3 and 360 is the real deal.
