Tell them nah..allyuh noobs who get RROD.....you must pray harder to God.
When I prayed i gota lasko fan and 2 computer fans. The two computer fans suck air out the Xbox (they have LED's btw) and the Lasko right behind to blow my troubles away.
Easy and it works. Anyone wishing to get the same setup up as me can get it at the easy and affordable price of $1500 TT.

Don't ask me how/where my brother got it, but I played the Resident Evil 5 demo he downloaded and burned to a DVD, and let me tell you...it BOSSSSSS!!!

Only two levels to play, but man, the action really fast and furious in this one.  If you think the villagers in RE4 were quick, the natives in this one even quicker, and meaner.  they seem to be infected by the same 'las plagas' as the villagers in RE4, as you see some pretty hideous things sprout from their necks when you liberate their heads from their bodies.  For the speed the enemies move, the turning speed is WAY too slow.  I hope they fix dat shiznit...and the inventory management is clumsy, but everything else is VERY familiar.

I am buying this one for sure.  I hope its multiplatform though (is it?), because I would much prefer the PS3 version (superior controller).

Japanese marketplace.....make an account in that region. d/l install and win.

360 controler > PS3 controler for everything except fighters. end of story. I regret buying Dead Space on PS3 esp when you have to do the "FPS" style shooting in parts.

BTW arcman.......bonus missions for Farcry 2 available through patch upgrades....free

Hmmm...OK.  To each his own I guess.  I give the slight edge to the PS3 controller because of its symmetrical shape,
weight, analog stick placement, and that wonderful D-Pad we all know and love.

i LOVE the d pad for the PS3....its a GREAT thing. i WISH the damn 360 controls had the same thing. Which is why i bought SF HD Remix for PS3 instead of 360.
However the off-axis thumbsticks for the 360 is ABSOLUTELY necessary for me in any kinda FPS game. The symmetry is my problem with the PS3...the off axis aspect of the 360 control feels so right, kinda like in the days of Goldeneye on the N64...even then the control was off axis based.

I can manage okay in any game EXCEPT a FPS game on the PS3 control. The weight of the PS3 Dual Shock 3 (i have 3, including the japanese model since i couldnt wait) and the regular sixaxis (also have that) is nearly the same in weight (however i use the MS Recharge packs instead of AA batteries (that is phail) ).

But it is preference. What we should take away from this is the RE5 gonna be on both consoles.....so whichever you more comfortable with.....GET DAT. end of story. plus it have nuff men on either to beast some multiplayer if it has (or co op).

Oh lawd I sorry but the RROD train was made by Microsoft and tends to come a crashing through in the middle of heated battles....

Power supply you say? then you may be in luck as they sell them online/locally I believe?

Perhaps you can borrow someone's power brick to see if the system runs properly.

Aye Silva, just an idea, you mentioned before that your cousin or relative in the states or Canada has access to Live, perhaps have them log in as you and download the maps, then you can log in at home and go to Download History and you should be able to download them again onto your own Xbox..I know it worked for W1nTry, because he did download the maps before his Xbox died and then he was able to download again AFTER the region lock went into place...give it a try if you can..
