I try. ;-)  Gears of War on Insane is a real challenge on your own. My nightly routine since Christmas is at least 2-4 hours of Oblivion. So far I clocking 80+ hours with no end in sight. Currently I am Grand Champion of the Arena, Arch-Mage of the Mages Guild and Master of the Fighters Guild. I now working on the Thieves Guild which seems a bit easier when you can cast Invisibility, Chameleon and Open Lock spells. This game really is one of the greatest of all time, IMHO. It is like a single player MMO and reminds me a lot of when I first played EverQuest. That game was so huge and open-ended with so much stuff to do and Oblivion is the same way. I can easily see myself putting in over 200 hours in this game.

Ways... again see what lack of Live does cause... I am Grand Champion of the Arena, Defender of the fighters Guild, Cat burglar of the theives guild, cyah rem what of the mages (but I reach the university though), White knight, and a few other things cyah rem right now. Outta curiousity what is the race and stats of your char? I am a dark elf, who major atts are strengh, light armour, security, destruction magic and something else... either way I am a master of the blade and journeyman of most attributes save mercantile, and those at the bottom of the list XD i've also closed at least 9 oblivion gates, maybe more now, cyah rem.

I always had a thing for casters but when I first laid eyes on Firiona Vie, the high elf mage on the box of EverQuest, I decided that most of my characters would be female, high elf mages (plus they are very easy on the eyes). So, here is some info on my Oblivion character:

Yeh, I got the shack too in Imperial City. I am planning to buy the other houses later on after I finish the guild quests. That is when I will probably dive headfirst into the meat of the game. My plan was to go through the guild quests (for achievements) then go into the main quest. I might allow myself to get sidetracked with some sidequests on the way, though. Extra money/loot is always welcome. I tell you, this game puts games like Diablo to shame with the amount of content in it and even compares favorably to some MMO's (without charging a monthly fee).

So wait... you haven't been playing the main quest? closing oblivion gates etc? cause let me give yuh a heads up, the higher ur level, the higher the level of enemies you encounter in oblivion and eventually they spill out into the noraml Syrodil... where have you reached on the MAIN storyline?

Hmm ... interesting. Well, I still have to find the emperor's son. Yes, I have a hell of a lot to do on the main quest. I just figured that I would do the guild quests first to get the achievements. I thought that if I went on with the main quest I might not be able to do the guild quests later on. Well, I will just have to deal with harder enemies and they will have to deal with my increased level of @$$ kicking.


Update ... I just finished the Thieves Guild questline and I am now Master of the guild. Next up, the Dark Brotherhood.

Dread masterchief08 stick this weekend... I eh know what happen. As for Oblivion, I am progressing in the theives guild and did some other side quests. That aside, for all those wondering how hard it would be to make a motion sensitive Xbox 360 controller... well considering a guy added 2-axis capabilities to his in 2 weeks... A lil tip for Oblivion folks. I blasted through the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood quests with a bit of help. You see, I finished the Mages Guild quests beforehand and had access to the Altar of Enchanting. I had a couple pieces of equipment with Chameleon - 25% and 30% before. Now I just enchanted a few more with Chameleon so that I could have more than 100%. After that, all stealth missions were a breeze. It helps with other missions too because most enemies cannot detect you with 100% Chameleon. You can attack multiple times and they just stand there begging for more. I am thinking of doing something similar with Willpower so my Magicka will regenerate at blinding speeds.

  Sorry W1nTry, I couldn't get past the woman this weekend gone, I had no time to play, she was watching me like a Hawk  Everytime I think she going to rest, I was wrong and couldn't boot the 360 up. We will have to arrange for another night, this time, Arcman and Woodyear99 need to set the date. Look at Vivman Gamerscore, sh%t he catching up to my humble 6402, shucks, gotta play more....You and Odion get left in the dust, and Vivman just playing more and more, so it looks like my 6402 won't stand up much longer.

I might get close but you have a $hitload of Live Arcade games to boost your score a bit. If I could find somewhere locally that sells Live Points, I would be in business (no credit card). Also, you have Xbox Live so you can get the online achievements.

I will re-iterate for the umpteenth time, Viv doh have Live. De man internet connection salting (unfortunately) so he could afford to mine acheivement points cause he cyah do anything else atm. When he hit live, yuh go see how progress will slow LOL (no offense eh viv but yuh know its the truth).

Actually, it should be the opposite. The achievements that I could not do before, I could finally do. Examples: Get 100 kills with the chainsaw, Play Co-op levels.
