Just thought I would share my views on a little game called "Hexic" on the Xbox 360.

I booted up my Brand new XBox 360, and lo and behold, Hexic was already installed on the 20 Gig Hard Drive.
I thought, why not try it, before I play some Call of Duty 2 and Some Perfect Dark Zero. So I started playing this little puzzle game and till now, have not been able to stop playing. It is so addictive it's not even funny. I mean I still manage to squeeze in some Call of Duty 2 and some Halo 2 inbetween, but I have to feed my addiction for some Hexic. Who would have thought that all this Processing and graphic power and I am sweating a puzzle game of all things....

The thing that makes it interesting is that with the Xbox live feature of the 360, you can earn points by achieving goals within the game, which makes it even more addictive, because the more goals you unlock the more points you earn. It's an addictive Bejeweled type game, but better. Check it out when you guys get your Xbox 360's.

Well, last night I downloaded the demo of Fight Night Round 3 for the Xbox 360 from the demo section of the Live menu. It gives you 3 rounds of full contact boxing with the most realistic graphics I have ever seen on a console. The sweat and muscle definition and face details are so real I felt like I was watching a boxing match on HBO. The Xbox 360 really shines with this title around it's belt. The sweat and blood and sound of bones cracking and the visuals are amazing. I can't wait to pick this up when it comes out. This is a must have title for the 360.

A BLOKE has come up with an emulator for the XBox360 which will play the old Nintendo games.
Called NESCafe, the emulator works through Media Center on the Xbox 360 and it does have limitations. The inventor who goes by the handle ‘X-S Enthusiast’ has not found a way to add a menu for the roms list so you will have to edit the nes.htm and change to whatever Nes rom you want to play.

X-S Enthusiast has included a Public Domain rom for testing but claims to have got Zelda1-2, Excitebike, and TecmoBowl working. He says you can find the Roms for these online.

The emulator can be downloaded here, and there is a video showing it all working here and instructions here.
