hey peoples i need ur help my ps2'S audio is gone to a faint murmur.i can barely hear it and its not the cord [i changed it].i modded about 5mths ago .has any one heard about this happening? and where can i get it repaired THANKS OR WHAT CAUSES THIS. :

is it plugged directly into the TV or through a VCR or some sorts?

If it is then you have to fiddle with the Left and Right audio settings.

otherwise double check that audio jack your system is plugged into, it could be shorting.

if u modded ur ps2 by nanan's problems seems rampant with them

my ps2 is connected directly 2 my tv and i modded by a fella on the caroni savannah rd chag..[he used 2 work by jk ent.

Mine was modded about 2-3 years ago.  I still have it.  Do your friends actually take care of their stuff?  I mean, keep as much dust off it as possible, actually keep it in a cool place like the manual suggests away from chemicals and all that other razzmatazz?

Well good luck to you dude.  You went to someone who used to work at JK to mod.  I bet you saved a lot of money didn't you?

this happens to some mods lol and im sure that the guy never worked at jk ur best bet carry it to doctor jk for a reapir cause 1
the board itself could be gone with the sound or otherwise
have u tried ps1 games on ur system if they show grayscale

Uh y dont u just check to see if something wrong with the jacks on the tv/vcr u are plugging the ps2 into.
