Its was a lil while back I posted a thread in the rum shop forum about a kid that shot up a cop or something so blamed it on GTA. This is along the idea that electronic games in general can have an impact upon impressionable minds. However this time its a good thing. It seem the UN (united nations to those living under a boulder in the Marianas Trench) has come up with a web based game see http://www.food-force.com/ that is aimed to educate children and gamers the world over about a disastrous problem that kills more ppl per year than AIDS, Malaria and Tubercolsis combined. What I am talking about is hunger, famine, malnutrition and any of its other names. Its a serious epidemic that has existed since time immemoral and still in no small capacity plagues us today. I urge responsible ppl out there to take a look at the site and encourage younger individuals to follow suite. Even in Trinidad we see the effects of poverty, starvation, etc. If anyone else knows of other goodwilled games do add to this thread. Gatts not only about fraggin... at least not the way I see it. GATT has had elements of humanitarian efforts and community work but surely not enough!

This is an online game developed in Trinidad and Tobago and sponsored by BG T&T where I work.

A pretty sharp guy by the name of Kirk did it, out of UWI.

Check it out. A good effort.

More along the lines of a tv game show (in fact it was one in real life) so don't expect any run and gun frag action, lol
