You have Gold version on that same pc?
Theres another way to load a Gold server?

I read this on a site but I donno if it works
Put all the proper settings for the server then load it up
when the green thing stops loading leave it there
then open sof again
and the server should be up
I donno if it works, give it a try

Ive tried and it didnt work , maybe i did somethin wrong

When that green things comes up thats running a dedicated server so it should be working. But sometimes your server will not be shown in the server list to others because of your firewall or router.

no i dont have gold on the same pc but i play it in hq,and when u create a server u dont get the green thing,the server actualy starts to run so i dunno whats goin on

It depends on if its dedicated or not. If the server is dedicated that green thing will come up. If its not dedicated it won't and the server will run while u r in it. But if u exit the server will close.

and if a server is not running dedicated it WILL lag.

if u are runnin it dedicated dus that mean the pc hosating it cant play?and is it ok to run a non dedicated server on a network...i think thats a LAN right?lik in hq nah

If u run a dedicated server u can use the same computer to open a new session of the game and play but your computer might lag if its not fast enough.

maybe gatt can use there download section for local mappers to upload levels for Sof, q3, ut2004 and others
