I would prefer some more ctf maps...or even team slayer or something...ffa cool and all...but I yearn for team competition...camaraderie immc.

Its a new map called engine room beta, extract this to your maps folder in the halo installation dir

due to some bugs czar found in the engine room beta map we not gonna be using it again. at times you spawn outside of the map itself and you will automatically die. so the map has been removed on the server and replaced with a map called Zanzibar. halo2 players will know this map

, well if you have haloce, you can play zanzibar as well. we have zanzibar running right now on the server , its in the mapcycle an thing so you must download it.

Well, the server's been down for over a week now due to server maintenance...plus I forgot to restart the damn thing

But has anybody missed it? I was thinking of starting a Battlefield 2 server in its place, but the box is Win2K3 Server and the game says it only really supports WinXP, but that's neither here nor there for me, I'm sure it will still run...however, the bandwidth requirements are way beyond our connection...it asks for 2.5 - 5MBit!! So that's prolly a no show for sure.

Any requests? ...No pleb, I will NOT host Warcraft 3

rofl @ not hosting wc3 for pleb.

Battlefield 2 will be big but the bandwidth requirements are insane.

Also, as we are on greendot, we can't get low pings to it, so that cuts us out of the action.

It would be a shame to not try though. Such an awesome game deserves the effort.

Let's give it a shot.

leave Czar to host the BF2 server on his T1 , anyone with DSL can host the halo server , BF2 needs 2mbits for a 16 man game !

You need to specify port 5000 to connect to it...forgot to mention that...my bad.
