Who will be remembered and Why

Some people play yugioh just for the fun, some people play for the thrill so they play for antes, some play for the competition. I play for all of the above and one more thing, for the greatness. I see the game the way Achilles saw his life, i want to do everything so i would be remembered. I want people to look back and say, remember when balki did this, or when chaotic pulled off that big win, or when chaotic lost that duel against chicken.
So far i've achieved some great feats such as pulling out gate gaurdian in tournament at anime city, i've won the most tournaments in this country overall out of every duelist that ever played the game. I've led a great team of duelists into victory and i'd like to thank each and every one of them, especially kajun, rio and chicken for constantly cutting my ass and encouraging me to be as good as i am, yes kajun, yes, you got your glory, is because of you and rio and chicken that i'm here.
i've even defeated great duelists like johnathan with perfectly ultimate great moth.
baego you're not a duelists so let me relate this to you. Pulling out gate guardian is las hard as beating Bryan masters in tekken playing mokujin in a 5 round match, and winning with gate guardian (what i did at a major tournament, which was very risky), comes like defeating bryan masters playing mokujin on 50% against his bryan masters on 100%. Ultimate great moth can be described in the same way, thas just to explain the difficulty of achieving those two goals. It's so hard that people don't even bother to try it outside of tournaments, yet i remain the only person to this date to pull them out, especially the gate guardian and in a major tournament again.
I would like to be remembered as the champion of champions, who wouldn't and with the most overall tournament wins, i'll get there. But it's not really the tournament wins, it's the respect you get or sametimes take that gives you that title. On facts i can be rated as the champion of champions because of tournaments and blah blah, but i want it to be written on opinion, i want people to believe it and to remember it. I am one of the most original duelists, one of the most bold faced ones also.

The people i remember are johnathan, kevin, chicken and fault because of their different dueling styles. I liked the fact that fault would duel without a single tribute monster in his deck, he was significant at that. Chicken, well his reputation alone stands for itself, he was my biggest rival and even through that one of my closest friends,we would take out everyone else and look forward to a great game against eachother at the finals, like what we did at SPK's first band list tournament. Johnathan (sabrewulf) brought to the game for me chaos, controversy, which made the game fun. He would bring about confusion even amongst ourselves within the clan, but at the end of the day it was all good. We even had a big dueling war about who was the better duelist, we know who won that now, cause band list didn't kill me, i came original, something he couldn't do. He couldn't rely on his skill seeing as all of his powerful cards were gone.
The greats are still here, Rio, Kajun, Myself, Bouya, Chris, Ryan, SPK, Singh along with new blood such as Cliff, Joseph, Mathew, Aaron all bringing something to the table. these are the duelists i look out for at tournament but my major threat is rio which isn't so bad cause he's from chaos legeon and we like it that way, the competition stays inside. But kajun is also making his presence felt now.
Who will you remember and why??

One person that I'll always remember is ChickenNBeer.
Way back when he was the very king of the hill, he always had this laid back style about his dueling.
However, the very thing that stands out about his dueling is his miraculous comeback factor....you'd swear on a stack of IHOP pancakes that he was going to lose in a duel for sure, only to pull the right card at the exact right time, and his triumphant 'YES!' as a result when he wins.

Yes, I know.
A LOT of people nowadays exhibit the HoTC syndrome, but ChickenNBeer was the very first (in my opinion) to really make it famous in dueling circles.

Balki is another person I won't soon forget.
He puts on quite a show when he duels....each and every time he does that inhale-walkoff-slam-the-card-he-just-drew-mercilessly-into-his-opponent's-cards-till-kingdom-come, it's a laugh riot. And he's also got confidence in spades, to boot. I've never seen Balki back down in a duel, or anything. Even when his opponent puts something that'll really upset his strategy, he'd just cock his head down, then back up and say in the most hilarious tone: "....you a$$hole!" Don't ever change, man.

Papasmurf also sticks in my mind, not only because of his calm, yet authoritative demeanour, but his pleasant attitude no matter what happens. He has also made many contributions in the dueling scene, and I think, out of anybody else, he laid the groundwork for many of the dueling tournaments we have now.

I hadda say that due to my lack of real tournament participation that i gonna remember ppl like kajun and balki d most, cus they gave me some of my hardest games, and well of course chris and dem, cus they got me into competitive duelling.

a man i will always remember is destroyer
sure he cheated manipulated rulings stole and didnt have a real strategy but merely pure power, but because of his "rare/Power deck" and me constanly dueling it using not even name rare cards i advanced. that was years ago before i was even on the tournament circuit. Men who roll with me i can never forget they directly helped me advance , be it through sourcing cards for me or training with me. So balki , Rio and the Rest of the Legion past or present thank you. (especially balki who didnt think a dark world deck could hold its own in a tournament!!! ).
Anyway back to business , I gotta say

I think the pioneers in the dueling world won't ever be forgotten, meaning the firsts ... the impressive and the charasmatic

Chang, Hiddenagenda, Chicken&Beer, Chaotic and Kajun....those are the names that I will always remember as champions of the game....each with their own style and flair ...both on and off the field.

But three ppl who must be mentioned as our primary promoters of Duel Monsters are Papasmurf, SPK and NEO.  These are the ppl I will never forget!

I think Rio is kinda unappreciated in this forum. He won the most Banlist tournys and was no. 1 for a while and after last tourny he is on top again.

Rio doesn't need or want to be appreciated here, he is THE GHETTO KING, and he knows it, everyone who is currently playing now also knows it, and hero when you posting in threads try and kinda read the date for it nah, this thread was up way before rio make it to the top position hoss but thas meh boy and he handling business.
I must say Yuwioh is doing a great job so far also, but they'll have to work extra hard to catch up to us.

this is true but that is rio's passive strat. his deck isnt built to slow down but he controls the pace of the game and when hes ready he takes control of the game and wakes u up.
