Capcom Announces Two New Compilations
« on: February 05, 2005, 12:06:13 AM »

Capcom revealed at their recent press event that it plans to release two new compilations from their catalog of games. One will be a general Capcom Classics. The company didn't mention any specific names, but did hint a few titles from the Saturn release Capcom Generations and never-before-on-a-home-console titles will be in the mix. The other set will be the Mega Man X Collection. Hopefully I don't need to explain that one. No release date or release platforms were announced.

oh and some other capcom news..

Classic collections is not all Capcom revealed at their press event! Three new titles are in the works that are new and in your face. First is Without Warning, a game that resembles the TV series 24. You play as six different characters as you try to fend off terrorists from bombing a chemical facilities plant. Next came Beat Down: Fist of Vengeance, a fighting/exploration title where you control a gang of thugs as you try to find and get revenge on a traitor. Finally, there was Haunting Ground, a survival horror game based around an 18-year-old girl trying to find her out of a haunted mansion with the help of a resident dog. Also, for the first time in America, Capcom will release a NDS version of its courtroom battle series, Gyakuten Saiban. Game Informer has an excellent, lengthy write up of all these games.
