I agree, tekken 5 is probably one of the best, if not the, it's what 4 should have been, and actually brings alot more to the table than Tag. I loved tag in it's hey day but Tekken 5 just dose it for me right now. I can play the game for a lone time without getting tired. 100 plus games a 1 time, wich is also duse to the fact that the games run very fast paced. To be able to say for certain that it's the best in the serise, I can't draw that conclusion, prematurely yet. But I do say it's very good and as my partner said, it reminds him of t3 when he would just kill for hours, I'll leave it at that for now.

I think the mirrored stage in Tekken 2 is badder...if they updated it....actually all the Tekken 2 and some Tekken 3 backgrounds would look awesome now.

In tekken 5, I like the rooftop stage...the sun looks cool and I like how it reflects on the glass buildings.

I agree.  Moonlit wilderness is one of the best designed stages in 3d game history.  I hate that rooftop stage though.  It's a little too realistic for me.  If you sidestep enough the sun will get in your eyes.  I'm trying to find a way to incorporate this tactic into my gameplay some how....

LOL thats awsome!! hahah i never realized that. (i guess i eh get a chance to play the game enough before my PS2 went kaput)

but yeah now that i think about it, the mirror stage would be kinna cool if it was updated.

i also love Yoshimitsu's stage in tekken tag. in the forest with the snow, and the music :-

i find the tekken series to be the best fighting games because its more level than the others with those one hit kill combos like in mortal kombat, killer instinct, street fighter etc.

somes info about tournament rules:

max competitor -> 64
tournament type -> Best of 5
life -> 100%
rounds -> 3
time -> 60 sec
stage -> random
shortcuts -> allowed
Custom characters -> allowed, you come with your memory card
if trinidads players want it, we will give them the EUROPE save of the game before the tournament

i think it will not change, maybe we will add pools, for preliminary but not sure, because of the time it take (dont want do a "one match pools per player" because we think it's to "random")
and it will depend of the number of console and tv

Tekken 5 Competitive Roster:
***********************
[X]-BryanMaster (Undisputed #1)
[X]-Baego
[X]-LordJin
Graeme
DRL
ImperialX
Sauce2k
[SS]-Johan
Circuit (Possibly #2 ranked)

Guys,

We have a new entry in the Tekken competitive roster and this mc has talant.

Circuit iwmc.

He has already made short work of LordJin and myself.

Leaving only BryanMaster as his obstacle to #1.

Looks like we got two sure shots for those spaces in the GigaGames tournament coming up.

The rest of us will be fighting for third.
