Local match vids to promote fighting game scene ?

Ok fellas. i've modified the downloads module on the front page so now you can upload your matches.

This is how it gonna be conducted:
1) go to http://gatt.carigamers.com
2) click on downloads on the top navigation
3) go to games category, then go to match videos
4) click on add download
5) add your download and be merry!

I'll look around for a really simple compression program which would make your match videos a lot smaller. after compressing the match video i advise you to zip/rar it so that it can be easily downloaded by your peers.

i just spoke to synth on msn and he'll be firing up a package+guide which would make compression really simple, select file and click go iymc!. by today it should be up, which would make compression really simple for you'll

i aint see no videos being uploaded, steups. all talk and no action yes. another waste of mc time. when allyuh fellas serious with an idea lemme know yes, have me wasting meh time setting up things with no content from the members.

After all, things like these takes time, not to mention the right mix of players to really put on a show.

I know Imperial X has some seriously WICKED Street Fighter EX3 combo videos up. If he doesn't mind, you can put them up for starters.

bwoy I wish i could drop into Trini and show ya'll some real action in cap vs snk 2, MK decep and soul calibur 2.  

I think i might record a few videos in the future and hopefully i will be allowed to submit em.

Lol @ Capcom vs SNK 2 action.  I really want to see what you have in that game.  Action is what its all about.  We could compare styles with vids someday hopefully.

Anyway, I want to give a try at submitting match vids but for games other than CvS2 and 3rd Strike, I can't record the matches.  There isn't a VCR anywhere coz we're definitely not at my house and we aren't hooked up to a pc with a tv card to record directly.

I have to either get a tv card myself or have the recording done somehow, someway.

for example...there are some of ya dat can play street fighter, but can't do crap in tekken.
those who know nothing but mortal kombat an kyar understand king of fighters...
all those rival schools (very bad game) $ soul caliber/blade ppl who wanna know what the hell is a samurai showdown!

But still we got talent beyond expectations...ya'll see them in da arcades (especially trincity mall) flexing dem stuff...we've fought an played our skill before without recognision.

Well, as the saying goes, 'Nobody is good at EVERYTHING.'
Some people may not be good at certain games because they probably don't like the game, or even play it as much as the ones that they're good at. Heck, I'd really hate to think that my calibur of skill was measured by how much skill I have in every other fighting game out there. One day, I'll find an Atari Jaguar, pop in Ultra Vortek, and see if you could show us a thing or two. Otherwise, you're really speaking for yourself, here.

Being flexible and be able to adapt to several other fighting games are good things, yes, but people only really polish their skills in the games they like to play and be good at. Don't be so harsh on people who rule in one game and bite in the other. It's a very unfair generalisation to make.

And yes, I agree....it's about time us Trinis show the world what we're made of.
We'll show those Shoryuken hacks that we can put just as good a show as they can, probably even better.
