Will warhammer 4000 dawn of war replace Warcraft?

i was a hard core wc player and had my doubts about it
but now dat i play de demo i converted

I'll gladly play DoW over WC3...a refreshing change to the RTS genre...was getting pretty bored with RTS for a while there...but am interested once again

Only thing I play WC3 for now is the RPG maps...

warhammer may be better than warcraft in some ways...in ppl's opinion , but men like crazyangel and thing go love warcraft foreva...
i really doh think that it will replace warcraft because there are some die hard warcraft fans out there..

yeah it won't replace it.
relic need to get their act together. need to release dedicated server, map tools, etc, proper mods an thing.

another reason why it wont replace warcraft is because of the highend pc needed. de game graphics bad, but that coming at a cpu level price.

and yeah , blizzard got their fans who go play their stuff no matter what it is. each game attracting its own crowd yes. C&C have dey own crowd, warhammer does, etc etc

War Hammer ownz j00

They already have a dedicated server, powered by gamespy.

Just like Blizzard has their dedicated server, battlenet.

It checks for CD Keys so needless to say, you got to spend your moola to use it. (I did and it kicks brass)

What you want ramp is a "hacked" server like FSGS. Relic will never release that, some third party coders is our only hope for that.

I'd say winnin lotto and buying everyone a legal cd key will be the remedy for that! lol

In any event, War Hammer is the best RTS on the scene right now, never before have we seen such visceral action. It is more a replacement for starcraft (which warcraft never replaced) because of its Sci Fi theme.

Warcraft will always appeal to the fantasy player fan base fueled by tolkiens works upon which it was based. Lord of the Rings style.

War Hammer will grab the Sci Fi fanatics (like myself) who prefer the futuristic technology spin on things.

The beauty about it, is that we have a most AWESOME game on our hands in War Hammer Dawn of War. RTS Fans rejoice. It ain't gonna get much better than this anytime soon.
