Respect...

Respect - # [n]  an attitude of admiration or esteem; [n]  the condition of being honored (esteemed or respected or well regarded)

In everything we do , the issue of respect comes into play . Respect in my opinion is a serious thing . If you don't got it , you might as well stay at home and scratch.

Here are some of the people that have earned my respect during my year and a half stay  in GATT ( in no particular order)

Shizz - a great man of vision ,artistic talent  and always willing to help a fellow gamer out
Waggy - a man with his head on his shoulders , a thinker ( why isnt he a mod ?)
Baego - The voice of reason , personification of a hardcore gamer
Touya -  The learned one , a man who knows his sh*t  
Imperial X - i'd rather sweat game with him than go a sns or hq sweat , he stands out as a skilled gamer who seeks to push his skills to the next level
The Members of the FIA - not intimidated by those who walked all over them when they first arrived , they reached out and earned the respect of their peers  
Bob - not the n00b he was when i started teaching him , after all the lixx and taunting he went through he still smiled and kept on persevering.
The female gamers - BIG BIG thumbs up to those female gamers who entered the fray and went toe to toe with the boys
Bloodbath - if he didnt earn my respect when he was in action  he's earning it now. After going through what he did , he's still here and he's still fighting. You keep fighting man ...i'll be waiting
Bryanmaster - A man who took his skills to the world level , and by world i mean a man who can handle himself against anyone , anywhere ,   anytime

well for those of the gamers i do respect to name a few are: ARCH ANGEL, Shizz ,butter_knife ,Touya ,Baego ,UmIraku ,most of FIA ,Splitpsycho(the ultimate girl gamer in BF1942 & Desert Combat) ,.... can't remember.... hav to eat meh brain food like baego and tell allyuh some other time

I for one cannot say that I respect all that I have done battle with.  At least after the battle has ended.  I have met too many whiners in my time who like to blame their own mistakes on others.

RB : For giving some of the best challenges and advice in CvS2.

F.I.A. for being a cool bunch of fellas who game for the love and could give and take lix on a normal scene.

Samanosuke.  I mean DAMN.  Anyone see his post in the MGS thread lately?  

As a matter of fact, the whole ZK crew for being a different group of individuals in terms of clansmanship and social interaction.  Nuff respect to ppl like Touya and PapaSmurf.  Someday I'll pick up Yugi Oh and we could duel or something.

SplitPsycho for the many humblings I've received in Tekken Bowl.

Damn, this really might be a large list.  I'd respect any gamer who fights honourably and games for the love of it.

Well I don't know any of you but so far you all seem respectable.  I respect Guru because he does pull some nice women, and Baego because his son is from St. Vincent.  I greatly respect women gamers, that's why I married one.  Bring on any incarnation of Street Fighter and she would use your dead body to wipe up your still warm blood from the arena floor.

I admire dest for having so much ability in so many games, even though he could have some more humility.

i really try and respect everyone, but people who know me must agree it is almost impossible to impress me, so kudos to those who are on this thread.

Shogun: Learnt me tekken 4 (but there's always baego to put me in my place there.
RB: Only man to give me a run for my money in SF3.

There are a number of People I have come to respect. I realise too that the respect you give to others will come back to you. I started on a path of discovery and adventure and have met many great, interesting and otherwise fun people.

RB: For utilising knowledge to better gameplay and maintaining a console stance.
Baego: Always a competitor and ready for battle.
Kayode: For introducing me to GATT
My Clan: For believing in me, believing in us and believing in the dream
ZK: For maintaining their stance on being knowledgable gamers.
