No, I doubt that if competition were to come they would have any advantage, esp if its a cell company. Land lines there is no chance there, they own it fullstop but cellulars on the other hand, its not a problem (save legislation and TSTT and the government squeezin dey balls) to set up the equipment and have better performance than TSTT, I listed the reasons for TSTT's cell short comings in another thread I will not bother to list them again (if it wasn't this thread to begin with).
