Hotmail accounts now 250 megs

MAdness, opened my email and found it to be 250 megs now.

buh i hearin some people still have 2 megs

actually ive been 250mb from since august. they are gradually upgrading their system to accomodated 250mb inboxes. they are starting with the older emails then down to newer emails. ive had mines since mid 90s so i got upgraded early. eventually everyone will have 250mb and no time limits on their account.

you are not gonna keep movies or any 500 megs files in there are you? BTW, i had my hotmail for a minute now and still at 2 megs.

i like to store lots of stuff online and its my alternative if im unable to use my ftp at that moment

you obviously missed my point. TO ME, this 1 gig of storage does not seem practical unless you are on broadband. If you got so many little files or whatever, burn a disc, you know you can use it, even when there is no net access. seems more practical to me.

Dread I have been a hotmail user since the mid 90's like 8 yrs now and I still have a scrunting 2MB account. I do have yahoo and gmail too so whaev I still have the hotmail cause once upon a time u needed one to use messenger and my contact list there is large.

I think gmail is alright for someone on a 56k line cause yuh may not be there forever or like me u have access to higher bandwidth connections at work where gmail is more practical so to speak.
