Organising a Regional Starcraft Competition
« on: December 03, 2004, 03:48:32 PM »
hi.. this is ronstar69 here
I am interest in having a starcraft broodwar competition to include the whole of the caribbean.   Islands against each other... battling to see who is the top starcraft champion.

I was inspired as I have seen on www.battle.net that the game is still alive and kicking with a mystery map tournament between the west (america the continent) and the east (europe).  the players from the west comes from canadia, america and brazil, while the east see players from germany, sweden.. etc.

I just wanna see what the interest is in starcaft is...?  Anybody willing for a competition like this.??

well this reaction start because on battlenet, I see they having an EAST against the WEST Mystry Map tournamet.  The west having 2 americans, 2 canadians, and 1 brazilian.  The east have ppl from Europe.  The winning team would challenge the best from Asia, who have the best crafters in the world.

I was wondering what happen to the caribbean.  Then I realise we dont have any tournaments, the americans, canadians, and brazilians do.  So I was wonder, being that GATT is now part of Carigamers,  baego, who have the power/resources to pull of a caribbean Starcaft, and probably warcraft tournament??

Ofcourse I would try to get ahold of the ppl you mention.
