I can't wait to put a beating on that steve.

It is a bit worrying that Jin has been nerfed. I suppose if you can't beat 'em, Join 'em.

If I can't pwn with Jin, (oh the horror) I'm gonna have to become Bryan's protege.

Teach me oh great one!
LMAO. Do't go there don't start. We got enough bandwagon followers already. 4 1 you'd b surprised the amout of Bryan players in chaguans arcades these days  .And to top it off in T5 he's top tier :o . Why don't u follow the steve or nina band wagon. Or one of the other good characters, law, paul, howarang, julia, wang. Besides, Jin is still good. He's just not broken. I heard he can do 60% damage from a punch parrry. Just haven't seen anyone do it yet. Anyway oldschool DJ would be good for you.

PS christe an she lil cyar keep she legs closed, tight pant tight ass self.... I'll fix that ;) .

lol

well being the hardcore-ist that I am, I still got pwned with the supposedly broken Jin by Bryan.

So if Jin is no longer broken, that spells even more pwnage for me.

We will see how it goes.

Yeah,stay off the Bryan bandwagon.
Unless you really click with Bryan,he'll just be a pain in the ass to use.

But forget what he is saying also,stay-away-from-Jin.Jin is still a great up close brawler but totally lacks the launchers and power moves to play in the Tekken 5 arena.
One place you might consider looking is at Wang Jinrei.Strangely enough he's very highly ranked, upper mid tier definitely.Just choose random characters until you find one that you feel comfortable with. It's not good to pick somebody just because they're top tier or whatever.

How d'you think I even chose Christie. In versus my freidns wanted me to pick her cause she looks hot.So next time in practice I decide to just learn a few moves for next time they ask,and bam!Suddenly my Christie surpasses even my Jin in Tekken 4.

lol, thanks for the advice.

I'll give Jin a shot, but Bryan/Bruce it may very well be then. I was originally a Bruce player btw but got turned to the Kazama way of life with the onset of Tekken 3 and the removal of Bruce from the line up. Damn bastards!

As for Christe, I would easily suffer because of her unorthodox moves and so few quality players that use her.

If I were to be exposed to her on a regular basis, she would stand just as good of a chance to be pwned as any other.

Why don't you go for Kazuya then?

Anyway, about that punch parry thing.  It's weak against short quick attack strings as far as I've been able to notice.  The damage would only come for a wall combo follow up as well.

Eddy Christy is a good choice one your into that type. Very unpredictable, i mean in the hands of a skilled player. People arn't acustomed to seeing a good eddy. One of the best compe i get in chaguanas is from and eddy player, guy named jamie. And exars christy is pretty decent, tho i havn't faught him in a while. Reminds me. Exar, if your not doing anything this week. I'll invite u over by me to run a few t5 games. Since e won't get to meet in the arcade anytime soon. If your numbers the same I'll give u a call. Yeah anyway back to  eddy. One of the best players in the us is also an eddy user 'slips' and its because of unpredictability that he's so good, that and he can really play:rolleyes:. SO eddy might not be a bad choice.

Rojer is also really good in this game.

The US eddy player, you talking about QDogg?

And the eddy player in chaguanas,is that the guy who plays as EVERYBODY?I remember a guy like that from back in the TTT days, tall dude.He used to play Mishimas,Williams,Kuma,Ogres,Eddy,Bryan,Bruce,Kings, everybody.

Same guy you think?

hmm
well..i'm relatively new to playing  tekken on the whole, tekken 5 really made a believer outta me. So far my favs are Kazuya, Asuka and Feng. EWGFs are fun :D

How does Lee and Baek stack up in the tiers ? So far Hwoarang seems to have gotten a boost in the damage dept from his T4 incarnation.

Arcade descriptions often are like that.In my career I've already dubbed people:
Shilling Man
Red Jersey Man
Town Man
Lee fella
Man who does play wit everybody
Every possible variation on tall man and short man.

If I had met Bryan Master in the arcade rather than meeting him through Zaibatsu he would likely have been immediately dubbed "the Bryan fella".

and we would all know that it was him.
lol

Fellas, good news!!

We back in business.

Flip pass and dropped off his PS2 at our office out of the goodness of his heart, after hearing how the original PS2 we had got stolen by some inconsiderate mc.

Depriving the members of the gamedom with a place to sweat some hard core PS2 console goodness (read Tekken) with their fellowman.

No more!

Flip, second nominee for GATT Gamer of the Year 2005 (First being ProtoJoe for the greendot hook up, lol)
