Guys I want to buy a ps2 slimline, but I also want to mod it, can it be modded, what are the reviews on it overheating problems ect ect. let me know befor I buy, an how much to modded it.

I've heard you need to keep a fan on it. Then again that's what they told me at Nanan's with my regular ps2. Yes it can be modded. About it overheating, I've seen a case myself where someone wanted to carry it back because of that. The idiot kept the thing in contact with direct sunlight while playing which is what caused that.

Ps2 slim costs about 1000 to mod last I checked. The overheating issue is something you have to ask someone at Nanan's about. They wouldn't sell you one if they know it can be problematic. Just ask for their recommendations. They wouldn't steer you too far from the truth.

The PS2 Boot disks work with it. I am not sure you would want to go through some of the steps required to do it though.
