http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NjU3LDM=hard ocp did an in depth look at the phantom console : its not gonna be able to play PC games well past 2006 : its outdated ALREADY! , You'll be able to get some mad FPS in DIII with this , but just stick a 5700 and more RAM in your normal gaming rig and you'll probably get even more .
http://www.hardocp.com/image.html?image=MT...UpfM18xX2wuanBn To me Infinium labs spent a whole lotta time doing nothing, no cutting edge hardware , or innovative software [ the download service concept is similar to STEAM ] , the games will all have to be stored on its undesized hard disk which won't hold that many :the download service will eat up more money in one year than a spanking new machine !
Another thing i must complain about is the actualy build of the machine : last year the labs were talking about a 5900 ultra being in there! the specs on the net say a 5700 and athlonXP, but the actualy specs are a P4 and 5600 .
I would assume that what is said about infinium labs is true : its just a con scheme to collect investors money and pretend to spend it on something useful , they are just building lots of cheap PCs and claiming they are next gen consoles, With the Xbox II due out next year , this thing is dead before it began .
