My new machine has finally arrived, it is about 60% finished : i still need to locate a lint free cloth to apply thermal paste, make fresh boot disks , and locate a copy of WinXP . In this topic i will post my O/C finding of the AthlonXP mobile 2400 , by the luck of the draw the number on it says 'IQYHA' , all chips with this stepping have been reported to o/c VERY well even for a mobile .

for all those thinking of getting a mobile chip monitor this topic : the XP average XP mobile can reach 2.4ghz on a cheap , all aluminum heatsink . At that speed it is as fast [and occasionally faster] than a A643200 . Considereing that they range in price from 75 to 95 USD [ half the price of the A64] this is a GREAT buy .
