Me....I think it didn't do as well as it could have due to the 2nd place movie. Princess Diaries 2. Julie Andrews (Sound of Music) is in it.
We haven't see JA for quite some time. Despite have been tortured with the SOM movie (and I am getting it on DVD..collectors item) she is one of the world's most loved actresses. And a lot of people went to see her. Plus PD 1 was a good chick flick. So I'm sure plenty fellas had to suffer going to see PD 2 and not AvP...
The Major take away though. Olympics opening...bad weekend to release a movie.
