OK just did some driver updates, followed most of the tweaking guide on one
of those sites and bumped up my old 1600XP to 1700XP rating (didn't make a
difference).
I get just under 22fps on medium setting 1024x768 (which is the resolution I
use to play the game)

medium settings, I get ~33fps but who cares about 640x480 anyway

Same as you, the game isn't a "lag-fest" though I can see it being one if
too many monsters get on the screen or in a heavy populated multiplayer
game. I'm not disappointed with this game (yet). Dunno what Kyode and the
