Subject: {GATT} Spider-Man 2 for the PC buss...
The demo for Spider-Man 2 was released today on Fileshack. People started
downloading like mad of course, and then the observations started popping
up.
The game is nothing like the game in the trailer. It looks different. It's
simplified so much that even the first Spider-Man game is more complex. It's
developed by some company called "The Fizz Factor", instead of Treyarch, the
usual developers of the Spidey titles.
People started to query around, until one guy sent an e-mail out. The news
isn't good.
Well, I don't know why nobody thought about this before, but I decided to
send a mail to The Fizz Factor. Reply came only a short while later:
Hello,
The PC version of Spider-Man 2 is a completely different game than the
console version. Aimed at younger players (8 to 14 year-olds), the PC
version is rated E for everyone, while the console is T for teens and
older. The PC follows a similar storyline, includes similar villains,
but the PC version looks brighter and it's more kid-friendly in its
design. The PC version's controls are customized for the mouse and
keyboard. Both versions will release on the same day just before the
movie's release.
Thank you for your interest. Please let me know if I can provide
additional information.
Best regards,
