Just read some stats on a local site that interviewed a bunch of kids that
committed murder and were @ remand yard. 95% of them came from single homes.
Marry that with the ridiculously high rate of divorce on the island. Future
looks grimm.
A dysfunctional home has a serious challenge to instill morals in the youth
therein for many many good and sad reasons.
On a positive note, that same site is hell bent on providing a rich living
environment for these high risk kids. To keep them away from the self
defeating scenario that oft leads them down a path of crime.
A worthy cause.
As luck would have it, they are trying to do their bit through computers.
(Not unlike initiatives you and I spoke about before Rich!)
They have made a lot of headway from the looks of it. I am thinking we can
assist rather than reinvent the wheel. Their's seem perfectly round and
rolling.
