In 2002 Myself (a Jamaican) and my friends started our Gaming Association.
At about mid 2003 We met a Trinidad guy that went by the name Baego. He at the time head up the GATT. The two groups had a great relationship. We had many online matches FIFA, DOTA , Counter Strike (yeah 1.6) .
Baego and myself had bigger dreams for Gaming in the caribbean. He proposed that we kill the GATT website and the Jagamers (vgaj) site and create one website/Organization. We came to up with the name Carigamers and we thought to use this to host all the countries in the caribbean. Each country could have their own board on here if necessary, or one board and each country could also have their sections.
We bought the domain name in 2004 there about and started the build out of the site. At the time we decided he would he the organization and I would be VP and focus on operations.
As we started, so did my corporate life and began my travels from country to country...... completely neglecting carigamers.
11 YEARS later........ I am very proud of you guys.
You guys (especially the GATT guys) great job.....
I have basically been a really dead beat dad.
Its time to put in the effort now.
