Guys

The summer is coming and that means tournament time again.

Get ready for Caribbean GameCon 2004!

(GATT Members pay $40.00)

We are doing things a little different this year....partnering with British
Gas to raise funds for FEEL. A group that amongst other charitable works,
feeds the poor and elderly.

As a result, all proceeds from the events will be going to charity.

Also, we are looking for other ideas and ways to raise funds. We have about
6 weeks for the fund raising aspect before the actual tournaments take
place. If you have any in mind please share them with us.

There is going to be an actual physical challenge at the end of the fund raising leg on the 26th/27th of June. For that we will need a few able bodies. Fit and phyiscal guys to participate.

Why couldnt this have happened when i was unemployed i had loads of free time then .

Jeez i work a ten hour day now. I dont have the time.

I definately in that Physical. My Physical shape has improved and is still so should be good. Also the game tourne too.

I would like to participate in the Physical Challenge, but it's on the same day as GATT's 3rd Yu-gi-Oh! Tournament and i have responsibilities to attend to. I am very sorry i could not aid such a worthy cause. However, raising funds is something i can help with:

I suggest that we hold a barbeque. It will be alot of work going into the preparation and initialization of this project, but the return is tremendous. My Youth Group in Church does one every year and we bring in $20,000 minimum. We in GATT have human resources available for usage in the form of our large school children population. Also, the number of places we can sell Barbeque to in Port of Spain is limitless (With everyone working and not able to leave oftne to look for lunch), and we have excellent transportation facilities available.

The only problem is that it requires alot of work to pull off (selling tickets, cleaning + seasoning + cooking chicken, folding boxes, packing food, delivering etc...) and no offense to allyuh...but some of you are the laziest mounds of flesh God breathe life into. But if enough ppl think we can pull this off....I offer my services

I'm up for the BBQ as well. Sounds like a great idea. I think we can all get together and really pull off something like that. If it gets off the ground I would like to be a part of it as well.

Let's get the ball rolling, the clock is ticking.

We could take the bulk of the work out of it if we have the bbq catered.

I spoke to a bbq place in south that would do the boxes with a garlic bread and green salad for $15.00 each.

I was thinking more along the lines of us doing it by ourselves.

I know where we can get the following at a good price: Chicken & packaged goods. The rest we can get donated: Rice, veggies, oil, salt, bread, potatoes and macaroni. We will have to buy all the greens and seasoning. But if you have different groups of ppl in charge of supply and producing the parts of the BBQ box.

Call comittees together and regulate them to se about:
Chicken, Baked potatoes, salad, rice, macaroni salad, garlic bread
Transportation, ticket sales, advertisement etc.
