The Hydro will work in the CM 120 (With modding)? The cpu heatsinks I had in mind were the Cooler Master GeminII M4 - CPU Cooler or the Noctua Low-profile Quiet CPU Cooler for AMD Based Retail Cooling NH-L9A for the CM 120 (My stock heatsink fan sounds like an RC car changing gears when processes are needed).  :awesome:

I was also thinking of getting a custom front grill made, something like this plus the demiflex dust filters.

Ref. link http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18554991

Also thinking of changing out the 120mm front fan and replacing it with this. (image was too big)

Let me know if this is a good idea till I get the Corsair 250D, pity we can't meet up and talk this out sometime, but if we can let me know.

I found a way to revive older systems with this neat add on, the interface is faster than SATA inputs.

Last quote for a 256 GB card from Amazon (as of this posting) is $300 US :ko:
http://www.amazon.com/Plextor-Series-Express-Internal-PX-AG256M6e/dp/B00JM2EQTS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1400789271&sr=8-1&keywords=plextor+m6e

Anyone want to try this out and inform us of the pros/cons of such an upgrade that can work for older systems? I see hope for my current 6 Year older system that runs windows 7 and has DDR 2 ram. Sax, care to try this out? :sassy:

Don't confuse PCI with PCI-E eh.

That card is actually for newer systems with PCI-E slots, not 'older' systems.

Hoss... 2 fiddy D.  Doh even stick.

Don't like curved/angled-top cases at ALL, but I'm sure that Corsair have evolved the internal design way better than current offerings

We'll see Arc, We'll see. I'm up for a good comparison when it comes out next month, side by side if possible.

Alrighty, time for comparison between a Corsair 250D and the 380T. Let me hear you all for pros and cons on usage and ascetics.

So far for me it's a win, what do you all think? (+) :awesome:

Internally, it beats the 250D in every way except storage.
There's also that PSU length issue.

Aesthetically...it's a mixed bag for me.  Not a fan of the overall shape (I prefer the understated, simplistic, minimalist, industrial look of the Obsidian line),
but I do love those easy-open 'gullwing' doors though...perfect for those who always like to tinker.

If you can get past the look, it's a definite win.

Tch, older PC crashed on me again ( I blame T&TEC for the last power outage that caused the crash) and now it doesn't want to boot up again. I bought a new PSU thinking the last one was bad. The Geforce 8200 940 MoBo starts up but doesn't boot into post screen. It only worked once when i put in the new PSU, and was unplugeed for 2 days before that. The board is 5 years old, I'm thinking it could be the processor or the Mobo. Tell me what you think guys, I'll look up the manual for it online. the only indicator the board shows is that the Digital display on the face plate blinks "SP" over and over. I'll post the specs of the board soon here.

Here's the Manual: www.manualslib.com/products/Xfx-Geforce-8200-Mi-A78s-8209-3296869.html

So it still doesn't work with a new PSU?

Yeah...most likely the board.  CPUs typically don't die from power-related events.

I'm looking up the deals @ Supertech for a Mobo+DDR3 ram (4GB)+AMD processor for under $1200 TT. Quote me on an Intel build with DDR3 ram and mobo for around that same price and i'll buy it ASAP, or point me to where i can get myself. The HTPC can run the high end gaming and HTPC stuff.

Can also make the quote for a Mobo with no onboard graphics, as i'll use the GPU's i currently have to run on PCI-e 3.0 slot the board may carry. Thanks in advance.

My money is on the board as well.

CPUs usually live forever

What is the purpose of this machine?

There are some interesting options out there now for that budget depending no what you plan to do
