For Immediate ReleaseOn Saturday August 24th the Wagon Club with the assistance of GATT organized a gaming day at the Cyril Ross Children’s Nursery in Tunapuna. The activities began around 2pm after three gaming stations were set up to the delight of the kids.
Ezra Burnley (aka Project E) from the GATT Junior Staff Committee presenting the Nintendo WII and games to the Cyril Ross management. He is flanked by Alias Cosplayers Merida, Princess Bell and Rupunzel. FIFA, Mario Kart and High School Musical were welcomed with enthusiasm as the kids played well into the evening. The play day was co-supervised by Kurt Kingston and members of the Wagon Club as the game day coincided with their monthly visits to the nursery. At 3 pm more excitement arrived as cosplayers from the Alias Cosplay Group, Merida, Princess Belle and Rupunzel entered to add some fantasy and whimsy to the afternoon’s proceedings. The management and staff of the Nursery were happy for the activities as they mentioned how important it was for the kids to interact with the wider public on occasion.
Before wrapping up, GATT surprised the kids by donating a Nintendo Wii system with two games Mario Kart and High School Musical to the nursery. GATT thanks its sponsors Gamez Plus, Cariszone.com, Laptop City and Tribal WorldWide for their contributions and a special thanks to Glen Saxon (aka Saxman) and the Y Wagon Club for the collaborative effort. An extra special thanks goes out to the children of Cyril Ross who were very receptive to all the visitors on the day with their assistance, bright smiles and courteous dispositions.
