Update being the keyword. Glad at least one person realized that was the reason behind this movie happening at all lol.

As is the case with remakes if you go in expecting the original of course you will be disappointed.

Word, Archer. Absolutely.

The original was done in the context of what the future was seen to be at that time. This version is more of a hyperbolised projection of what is expected to obtain for the next 10-20 years. It's like Elysium at a "lower temperature"... Far less dystopian but still pretty messed up.

Btw, I am convinced that Samuel L. Jackson was born to cuss... BORN ah say!!!
