Samsung Galaxy S3 Consistent Freezing

My phone has been freezing more and more lately.

It began after I installed some humble bundle games,
I did a factory reset and it still crashes for no particular reason.
Touch screen becomes unresponsive and i am forced to do a soft reset.
What information can I provide that might make it easier for you guys to help me?

Is it rooted? If so.. check XDA Forums for a ROM that you like and go into ClockWorkMod and flash it over.

I'm guessing that you never even messed with the firmware in any way, so it's still 'stock'.

If it's a hardware issue, flashing another firmware might only exacerbate the issue.
Me...I would have flashed the latest stock JB 4.1.2 firmware.  That way, it would have been easy to see if the issue was a firmware one, or hardware.

If you're not comfortable with that, take it back to the vendor.  It should be still under warranty.  Let them deal with it.

If you got it from TSTT though, let me warn you one time...there are no replacements 'right now', so...there's that.

And even if there are they may tell you they will replace it but reduce your warranty even more than you actually had left on the original,  true story happened to someone I know recently

Having a similar issue and as Arc said, TSTT has no loaner phones and will tell you that it will be anywhere from 10 - 15 days at the technician.

Considering iPhone or reversion to Blackberry at this point.

One thing for sure... not another blasted Samsung phone for me!
