Their are certain roles that just suit the actor.

Robert IS iron man, changing him now would be an outrage.

That new superman dude IS superman

The Thor dude IS Thor.

Heath Ledger IS joker, mite as well not make another joker this generation, cause that man went out with a bang. They can't go replace him, even if d man not here anymore.

they just pull it off too good.

The last batman could have been a better actor, but he filled the role quite well, changing him now is an outrage regardless of the actor, and to add insult to injury, Ben Affleck? Really?

As hilarious as I think this development is, I can't help but admit that the man is a box office draw now, meaning, his name alone will put butts in cinema seats...which is one of the main reasons his name was even in the running for the role in the first place.

After all...wasn't Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain before he played The Joker?

I'm a bit curious myself. I mean, they could certainly do worse. *coughGeorgeClooneycough*

Yea, but d thing is, when they cast heat, it was the first casting for the remake.
if 3 years ago they said, ok Ben for batman fine.
but after bail done blaze d trail, I eh want to hear bout no Affleck.

I hear Robert say no more iron man for him, the re casting of that role will be angering regardless. Before iron man I din even know who Robert was lol. But now he IS ironman.

D ones that easy to change is who do poor, like all previous hulks, d hulk from avengers nail it though. D others rel fail.
So if they go to replace avengers hulk now, we go have words.

amd ontop of that, afleck daredevil role....is reminiscent of that new green lantan, or d superman returns one. Movies best left forgotten.

all that said, I'm sure the director knows what he's doing, I hope, so we go see I guess.

To be fair since he started directing a few years ago his acting matured along with it and he does look the part, as far as size goes The Town proves he can get in shape when needed. Im just gonna sit and wait. Also I can't help but think he will have some part in helping out behind the scenes now storywise or other.

I think people should indeed give Ben Affleck some props. I mean sure he starred in Daredevil and a few other flops, but in the last several years he matured as a good actor ... no, a GREAT actor.. and the Heath Ledger example was a good one.. I admitted he was an odd choice for Joker and look what happened. Movie masterpiece history

Archer is right until the movie (or trailer) actually releases people shouldn't condemn the guy. Just saying

A few other flops? lol. I could probably name 1 good movie he star in (changing lanes) and most of what made that movie good was Samuel L. Jackson. I would have faster accepted him if he opened the role. But the fact that he is a mid-generation swapout? hell's no. Guilty until proven innocent im afraid lol.

If he turns out to rock d role, then fine. But until then, ill remain uninspired and skeptical.
I'm sure he's a great guy, but a great actor? Hells! no.

Who knows, this movie mite be the very thing he needs, but I sticking with d internet on this one lol.
