Hot damn...this service just increased my want for the PS4.
If this means that I can abandon my PS3 when it launches, then I'll be ALL OVER IT.

I can live with this as an acceptable compromise for not having native backwards compatibility.
The only 'con' I can see is of course is if your internet connection is one that frequently 'misbehaves'.

This news actually has me excited for the future of the PS4.

Anyone getting this? I haven't been on PS4 enough to say, but no issues on my side so far.

"PlayStation 4 early adopters are experiencing a widespread data corruption error resulting in lost progress and unplayable games, according to frequent reports in a 34-page PlayStation Forum thread.

Joystiq reader "Jim" wrote in to report the loss of 30 hours' worth of progress as a result of a glitch that the PS4 console identifies as "Error CE-34878-0." The bug isn't isolated to a specific game, as PlayStation community members report lost progress across several titles in the PlayStation 4's library, including NBA 2K14, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, and Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. In rare cases, "CE-34878-0" prevents users from starting any PlayStation 4 application, rendering the console unusable.

PlayStation forum members suggest a variety of solutions to the issue, ranging from save file deletion to a full console replacement. We've reached out to Sony for comment and await a response."

so it is an issue. good to say that SONY is on it. It doesnt seem to affect PSN games atm.

The "ce-34878-0" bug, which players have been reporting on the European PlayStation forums for the past couple of months, appears to be one of the really bad ones—players are saying it erases their save-files for various PS4 games including Battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed IV.P

Sony's looking into it. "We are aware of the cases and we appreciate your patience while we investigate," a Sony representative told Eurogamer.P

We've also reached out to Sony and we'll keep you guys updated as we learn more and/or find out about possible fixes."

Holy shit, i now seein that dey. Damn thing was lookin good before then youtube tell me it lookin wobbly so i let yt 'fix' it.

@firekyle this video was when ah now start to play, right now i'm prestige 1 and does level up meh other characters now and then. prestige system in this one kinda retarded

For real I hate the pres system. Basically u can prestige without loosing anything. And the challenges suck
