DEFINITELY waiting about a year before I pick this system up.

Had mine for about 2 weeks now...

The most noticeable changes (apart from additions) are
- Thumbsticks wider apart and concave (about god damn time)
- Larger grip for the palm of your hand to wrap around
- Concave triggers (finally) so no more slipping off the trigger
- smaller D pad with different (click) feel
- Start/Select replaced with Options and Share buttons definitely out of the way for men to not accidentally press them by accident.

Absolutely hated the PS controller until now. That "omg N64 has thumbsticks we need thumbsticks...where do we put them...HERE!" has finally been improved and give the player more breathing room. Also no more Playstation Claw

suffice to say that nobody...and nothing....is perfect.

I was wondering how Sony able to fit almost d same hardware into the ps4 chassis, and the Xbox so big, and was thinking that Xbox making sure they console have no hardware issues (after d red ring) thus provided ample cooling and more room for d same hardware to breathe. So figured the ps4 would be loud like a jet to cool that hardware. Got reports that it is infact louder than Xbox, but then I also just see this:

If it's only '0.4 %' as Sony is reporting, then that's a really small number,
but you're GONNA hear about it.

Agreed at that at , but some things everyone is going to have a problem with, like what I just post.
That is not a random problem with d system, its an inherent design flaw. All ps4 are going to overheat, unless u put it in a properly ventilated and cool environment. But it wont be able to run under d same environmental conditions as a ps3 or Xbox one for that matter. Men who planning to just slot that into they media center are going to be screwed.

Like I said from before, trust ah Japanese company over a well established US tech company, shit like this is bound to happen. I loss all faith in the technical networking abilities of Sony Engineers since the PSN outage.

I agree with arc, all that hoopla, on top of which u charging man for, all them pre-orders, and u couldn't throw up some more servers? Stueps.

And I agree with Redlum, MS Azure service being used for corporations all over the world, ah highly doubt they going to experience this kinda issue at launch.

Poor game reviews, systems breaking, PSN Crash, ah mean, how else could a console launch go wrong?

Secondly Microsoft only succeed because they hit ah market(Operating systems) that had no serious competition, but look at all of their other goods, zune, windows phone xbox.all ah dem does struggle against competition.That show in me that Microsoft can't operate with serious competition as we seeing with this console launch compared to last gen where  they had all the advantages.Sony however, is a globally established conglomerate well known for their electronics.Sure in recent years they having some issues but that is because they operatin in markets with major competition.In tv we have dem goin against Samsung,LG,Sharp,Visio and others.In cellphones they goin against big names like Apple and Google and again Samsung.

So I don't know bout you but I think I go have a bit more faith in the company able to stay afloat goin against big hitters comin out ah no way in every market they once dominated or the company that catch ah lucky break in the Os market and does seem to struggle in every other.

Just to point it out Ms is ah software company why yuh go even think they could build anything that could outclass something from a well established software firm?yuh an think it have ah reason the only reason ms could outshine sony is software related?

Ok, school time.

Firstly, I said don't trust Sony online infrastructure, I was not talking bout they hardware. MS cloud have nothing to do with cheap labor, and yes, they are a software company, which is why xbl so good. Is that I talking bout, u gone off on a rant bout hardware and cheap labor like if that's what I talking bout lololol.

Next, Microsoft and Nokia completely owned the dumb and smart phone industry not too long ago. They just get catch with they pants down by apple, and now it very hard to recover, and they are recovering.

MS only succeed cause it had no competition? so wam to OS2 warp. And Mac OS. Those were around, it had competition, MS just wtapwn them.

You list Xbox as a struggling product, yet still ms went from never being in that market. Going up against your so called conglomerate , and everybody laugh them to scorn. Yet still MS take Sony same business and became more profitable than them in it..... and u say MS can't compete? Dude what u smoking and where can I get some?

In the end I have zero faith in a company that had my CC information stolen and had a 2 month outage requiring them to rebuild their entire datacenter because they get hack. Stueps, blasted incompetence . Zero! Faith. After that fiasco Sony had to earn that faith back. The same way Xbox earn back gamers faith after the red ring fiasco, by offering epic services. Sony try with psn and d free games things, they ain't quite there for me yet, and seeing how this ps4 launch start off.......I good.

I'll get ps4 for uncharted and god of war and infamous. My online going to be on PC like its always been, and Xbox for this generation.

Dan how long allyuh men go to talk about psn outage eh? No service perfect, if people was to judge ah service on everytime something go wrong chances are nobody in Trinidad would use flow cause in the beginning them use to real mess up, on my end at least.The cc info wasn't encrypted? So the hackers basically steal something they couldn't use an  if they somehow get into people accounts how it is nobody talk about it? Ah think some men mighta sue if they did get anything stolen.People probably lose more money buying the device with the one  of if not the highest failure rates in history(Xbox 360 if you didn't know). And brother man the amount ah times xbl had problems,just the other day games was disappearing from the store.It had times xbl went out to, of course not as long as psn,but still it have it proboems,like every other service.psn outage was an unfortunate isolated incident caused by some good hackers.

The way yuh clingin on to psn problems why yuh doh cling on to Microsoft tendency to abandon consoles before the gen finsish or RRoD.

Anyway if ah had to choose between psn and paywall live ah go choose psn any day.

Like ah keep saying in this thread.... ah never own ah Xbox or Xbox 360, their are reasons for that. Bottom line, I call shit where I see it. And I woulda much rather my console spoil and ms replace it under warranty, than to be out of online gaming for 2 months and have my information stolen to d point I had to change all my dam passwords and notify d bank just incase said hackers break d encryption.

And yes, rrod was balls, nobody saying it ain't, but psn was worse to me as a consumer. Also, I was not affected by rrod since I never buy any Xbox. But I was affected buy psn balls. So naturally ill cuss them harder.

PSN on ps3 still free and yuh only payin for multiplayer on ps4 so at least yuh could still get some use out of yuh internet connection if yuh choose not to pay for it.unlike other services where almost everything is behind a paywall.Doh let we forget the free games yuh getting when yuh pay for psn at least yuh get something back.doh even compare it to games with gold where all you get is ah set ah outdated no name game.
