played last night
input doesnt really play a factor tbh

not in tanks anyway and doubt for planes
game is more on knowledge of ur target, awareness and positioning

tanks is all positioning and knowing where to hit diff tanks in specific spots

tank turret takes time to rotate so its not twitch based
same with planes , planes take a while to turn based on real life so no one gonna 180 u ez if a controller player gets on a pc player ass in a plane and both players know what they doin the pc player is dead and vice versa

...and I played War Thunder on the PS4.
I was actually able to perfectly replicate my PC control-scheme.  Surprisingly...the DS4 feels much better than the Xbox 360 controller for this game.  (or, it could just be my Playstation bias talking   )
My only issue is that I may have to repurchase stuff I already did on the PC version.

tanks are AWESOME
lovin it, starter tanks are ass but once u start gettin tier 2 tanks u start to enjoy it more
researching tier 3 on german side atm, at tier 2 on RU side as well
