after xb1 had the better twitch app sony come in and having an update within a few weeks

While xb1 had the superior app up till this announcement Sony app still did 1 thing better and that was only allow u to see other PS4 streams which ultimately helps PS4 streamers get viewers

i load up the twitch homepage and scroll down and look at the top xb1 streamers and top ps4 streamers and ps4 streams always have higher avg numbers. the XB1 app doesnt just filter XB1 streams it lets u view all streams regardless of platform. Some may find that good but as a PS4 fella who does stream its already hard to gain viewers and if an xb1 player wants to watch say a multiplatform game like BF4 ppl naturally gravitate to streams with already high viewers so ppl using the XB1 streaming find they strugglin for views cuz their app shows every platform

I could be wrong but I don't think there is another way.  Just let them stream the game so you can spectate over twitch

You can look into x-split on twitch. I did not rtfm, so you may have some experimenting to do.

Sony and Naughty Dog are bringing The Last of Us to the PlayStation 4, with a special remastered version. The enhanced edition includes commentary from the creative team and voice actors, upgraded visuals, and the game's DLC. It's a nice package, but what if you've already purchased the game? According to Naughty Dog, there's a chance you might get a discount.

The discount talk came after a lengthy post on the PlayStation Blog, which outlined the next DLC, Grounded Mode. A commenter asked about a potential discount, which led to the following response: "We’re looking into the business model for all this and will post about this once we have input from all regions," said Naughty Dog creative strategist Eric Monacelli.

If the company's decided to implement such a deal, it wouldn't be without precedent.
