Looking to upgrade to a new cpu and mobo so i'm selling my current ones ... they're used for 5 months and are working perfectly .... its an i3 2100 dual core 3.1 ghz and an msi H61M-p20 (g3).

Asking price is 700 for both. Comes with packaging and original heatsink.

Hmmm... That CPU could actually give my HTPC a swift kick in the pants, performance-wise.

Not a bad deal at all.
Mobo price a lil hot, but still...not a bad deal overall.

If you still have that CPU by February month-end, I'll take it.

Damn had I seen this 2 weeks ago you would have had a sale... I built a HTPC with an AM3 X4 and bought a mobo from supertech for 299... for this price I would have opted for the i3. Ah well timing is a helluva thing!

Wait... The price for EACH item is now $700?

If so, that's not cool at all. The mobo was already too expensive at $600.

I am now sorry I don't have that 700. I too, like W1nTry recently built an HTPC that would have been substantially more powerful with this setup.

It would be foolhardy to pass this up.
