Saw it this evening was decent but revisiting the origin story wasn't needed and kinda took away from it being awesome.  Felt very much like Ultimate Spiderman there was even a battle in school and even tho the tagline is the untold story the movie made it clear they tackling that issue in the sequel and this was just a teaser.  Mid-credits scene still has me scratching my head and it was a bit too long @ 2.5 hrs.

Garfield and Emma stone were awesome as well as their supporting cast, action scenes were great, character interactions handled better, CGI wasn't amazing but it helped the whole comic book feel of it.

I'd say 7/10

Watched it.  Loved it...especially the lack of campiness.

Much preferred over them Raimi movies...so now onto the inevitable sequel(s).


...and how about that Stan Lee cameo?

Watched this in cinema and really loved it. For some reason this gave me the comic book vibe a helluva lot more than that original trilogy. And some of the foreshadowing of what is to come - oui papa. Hope they pull off proper spiderman sequels and give the story the justice it deserves.

And that Uncle Ben nailed it.
