Bmobile 4G

So many months leading up to this you would think they would have implemented proper PR to it's customers by now. TSTT/bmobile is to blame yes.

Rep: Well the speed at which you connect is dependent on the handset, it will connect at the speed at which your mobile GENERATES *in caps to emphasize the answer i was given* the data

LMAO oh lord I almost ROTFL reading this yes esp the part when u ask about frequency and they said 4G yes lol .... Mind you tstt does not control 90% of their call centers they are outsourced right here in trini they need to do some serious quality control on them asap cause this is just sad....

Don't laugh.

In the states I was told by a Tmobile rep that my phone (Samsung Galaxy Nexus) would'nt work at 4G speeds because it was unlocked and not bought from them.

I proceeded to insert the tmobile sim in my phone nonetheless and voila....4G speeds immc.

Staff the world over get it wrong. Cut 'em some slack.

Yeah it was broken since they launch the new site but i hack it to get to chat with support, then informed support of the issue, so if it wasn't fixed by now they just playin d ass.

Quick comparison of prices Digicel vs Bmobile.

Hopefully Digicel will match their prices. I'm going to sign up for Bmobile 4G next week.........

I don't think Digicel under any pressure to drop their prices right now, as the quality of their service is a whole lot better...in all respects.

Still...a sweaty price drop wouldn't hurt.

why do you say that... been running 4g for the day in port-of-spain... working great, speeds looking about the same as these digicel 4g's we have in work... just to do some testing in different areas now...

Signed up today and like Phoenix, my experience so far is not bad. Averaging about 1mb down in D'Abadie with my S3. In the same area I'm getting about 2mb down with a Digi powered N900 from the office.

Will continue to monitor the performance.

That could be related to device...and location too.  I'm all over the east, and central.
The only places I've seen signal drops, are within certain buildings.

Based on the speedtests I'm seeing thus far, average speeds on Digicel's network are higher, and more consistent.

Customer service with Digicel reps has also been trouble-free thus far.  They actually know of what they speak.

Well you certainly win with the customer service because the bmo ppl don't seem to know of what they speak according earlier posts lol..

But either way I will give it the runaround and see.. We have work devices to "directly" compare it to on the digicel front

Digicel customer reps have failed to get me signed up on their 4G plans, not once....not twice.....but FOUR FREAKING TIMES.

I went to branches in south (two), movietowne and west mall. On different days and salt immc.

Not for lack of effort on my part.

Definitely going with bmobile 4G. Those prices looking good.

I'll try to get it tomorrow and see if the reps can get it right the first time (unlike Digicel)

My wife is not a techie but even she said the Bmobile 4g was noticeably faster than old edge. As in her Facebook and email load right away. She's happy with it so far.

I will not be reactivating my Digicel's 4G plan until i see the 1gb at a lower price............................ I usually have like 300 remaining when the month is done.. So after seeing TSTT's prices... I find it very difficult to have pay 250TT for 1 GB.

Yea chiney that really doesn't make sense when u could spend less and get more with tstt the stability of the service has improved immensely my phone stays on 4G now no more switching and as woody said it is ALOT better than Edge and the pricing now is great as well so I shall be sticking with tstt for the foreseeable future

I have to say I have been very pleasantly surprised by bmobile! Never thought I'd say that but its the truth. Getting on bmobile 4G was easier than Digicel. Walk in sit down talk done. I tested Digicel and that took four phone calls a battery pull and a few dropped calls...
The speeds are also as good as what I experienced on Digicel save they are more consistent. I move from south to north regularly and at least between central and north coverage is decent with a few drops and E appearing now and again.
My take on it, Digicel for coverage and consistency, bmobile for a bess price alternative. If you need to drive AND Skype (God forbid) Digicel is your option, if you use it when you're more stationary (office, home, etc) bmobile wukking.

PS I get 4G in my apt on bmobile but not Digicel and I am in central populated area
