Developed by Gaijin Entertainment...makers of the stellar Birds Of Prey (console), Wings Of Prey (PC) and Apache: Air Assault (multiplatform).




Bloody game out since March 2012.
There's a demo on XBL and PSN.  Found it by chance while browsing
for new demos on PSN, or else I may have missed it completely.
Konami need LIXX for not marketing this one AT ALL. 

Of course I'll be picking this one up in due course.
Since Xbox Live has all the DLC thus far, I'll be getting that version.

Looks like you can play as the Japanese and bomb the Ish out of pearl harbor... Maybe that's why it's not marketed more in the west... Yuh know how Dem Americans would have a cow...heck a whole farm....

Well, the game IS made by a Russian company...but still...in any event, this is clearly a game made for WWII flight fans BY WWII flight fans.

The demo has just such a mission, with you piloting a Japanese Mitsubishi A6M Zero, escorting torpedo bombers in a mission against
the American carrier USS Lexington.  The weather effects during this mission need to be seen to be believed.

(Yes kids, way before Mitsubishi made Lancers and Evolutions, they made highly capable fighter aircraft)


As usual the flight model is spot on, but on the 'Simulation' mode, lets just say the controller just won't cut it.

I literally cannot WAIT to get my hands on this game.
The number of flyable aircraft contained within is truly astounding.
