AthlonXP : the return to Paris

AMD has announced that they will be launching another athlon XP, but for the socket 758 that was used before for athlon 64 . It will be a 32 bit processor and it will replace the athlon XP's place as their budget CPU product .

well.. maybe amd will sell the socket A patent to cryix cheap.. and we might see some cryix chips again.. or VIA will use its patent to make an improved processor  [ their currant C3 suxx  for speed even versus a celeron ]  .

 but we may never see another chipset or AMD processor for socket A.
