Another worrying headline for RIM
http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/06/18/us-celestica-contract-rim-idUSBRE85H0RK20120618
As they are winding down production to cut costs and there is some talk of massive unsold inventory.
Will BB 10 be enough to claw out of this hole?
After using Android ICS myself and seeing what Microsoft has planned in WP8, I don't think so.

So BlackBerry 10 has been pushed back to 2013
Talk about way too little....way too late.

Run DMC's "Take the money and run" comes to mind. Specifically, Google's money.
QNX really isnt that bad in terms of interface and functionality. Combine that, bbm and some android goodness, they could very well be on to something...
Lets hope good sense prevails...for their sake.

WindowsPhone + RIM is an enterprise win.
Who knows what the future may hold.
As much as I like Android....it doesn't feel enterprise ready just yet.
If RIM and MS team up, they can maintain their strangle hold on that market space, no doubt.

RIM is exactly what Google needs to put an enterprise spin on things. I dont think MS needs any more help to do that.

Microsoft is boo in that market in terms of telephony.
RIM was always a bit of an outside child.
WP7 married with Exchange + RIM would mean a totally natural evolution for the enterprise. The automatic choice by CIOs the world over.
The enterprise install base of BES would just be terra formed into a Microsoft solution.
Typical MS modus operandi.
Would be interesting to see.
Google already has Motorola. They don't really need RIM on the hardware side. And they surely don't need them on the software side.
Google would be better positioned polishing Android to be an enterprise competitor and a lay mans platform. Effectively marrying the two.
They are well on their way to achieving that I think. Two more years and is gg
