Yea, Crysis 2 was awesome.

Just didn't make my PC cry like I wanted it too....ran it before even upgrading my rig, which is to tell you how tepid and undemanding it was.

Still, game was boss.

Doh be a hater Awesome, lol.

Reminds me of the 'Predator' mode from Aliens vs Predator (the old one).

I wish the downed Cell players didn't respawn as hunters though.
That part doesn't make much sense to me. I hope the Cell players' weapons are way more advanced,
like EMP-grenades or similar, or else most matches are going to be pretty one sided.

The campers are gonna ruin it though.

I know I'm not supposed to do this but....

In a word: SWEET...sound, visuals, and *gasp* gameplay.

Someone commented that this has more polish, and plays better than actual, finished games,
and I'm inclined to agree. I have to admit I'm having fun playing this. The nanosuit combat is
what you would expect, without being cheap...and there are some big, BAD weapons lying around
the levels that players can pick up and dole out some serious hurt with.

Danger Close...PLEASE send your level-design personnel to the Crytek school of level-design,
because CLEARLY, allyuh ain't ready yet. Whoever allyuh get that degree from, should give allyuh back
the money they took to teach y'all.[/rant]

Right, where were we.....?

Of course I went playing 'mannish' and maxed out ALL graphics settings, and was promptly reminded
that this is Cryengine 3, and not Frostbite 2. Yes...I'm talkin fps in the TEENS here folks.

So I had to swallow a little pride and set everything from 'Very High' to 'High'.

I think they should rename 'Very High' to 'Look here, choose 'High' settings and behave yourself, eh'.

Bottom Line...what I've seen so far is downright impressive, but keep in mind I could just be saying that
because Warfighter was such a disappointment. I'll let others who have played it chime in with their impressions...

Ran a couple matches just now, have to agree with pretty much what Arcmanov said.

Running mine on medium settings 1080p on my amd system, running smooth with no crashes, bugs etc.

No lag either(connection wise).

we should try all playing together, to see how matchmaking etc is. Haven't tested for any party system yet.

Again I could agree with all that is posted here. Game has more polish in ALPHA stage, than some full multiplayer games *cough warfighter cough*

Hopefully the full game expands on this.

This game making my rig bawl though.

That lighting engine alone is a thing of beauty.

Maybe I could exchange PC with Awesome to play this...?

...since all he plays is BF3 anyway, and mine could more than handle that.

Seriously...I think CryEngine 3 will take back the title as best-looking, most technically proficient, PC-game engine to date. (Did it ever 'lose' that title, though?)

The level of graphics, I dunno if the 6950 and i7 will be up to the task.

We will soon find out. lol

Had a helluva time with Halo 4 and that's on an aging xbox, so lets hope my PC can do the same and provide a solid platform for Crysis 3. If not, Christmas round de corner.
