My original phat 'MGS4' PS3, which I purchased in late 2008 is now up for sale.
You're getting the console only, no cables, HDD, or controller.
Issues:This PS3 has started to exhibit symptoms of YLOD. It will randomly crash while at the dashboard,
and it will certainly crash when any graphics-intensive game is run...some more than others,
but you WILL start to see green blocks and other artifacts on-screen before it crashes.
I made no attempt to repair it myself, but I did strip it down once to give it a thorough internal
cleaning, thinking that would fix the problem, but no dice.
The BD drive, card-reader, Wi-fi, bluetooth, Ethernet, optical/multi-out, USB ports all work fine however.
Asking price: $500 TT, and yes, this is negotiable.
Just remember,
you are buying this at your own risk.Maybe it can be repaired, I'm not sure, but it can certainly be used for parts.
